Daikin
Variable-capacity systems, quiet operation. We are a Daikin Comfort Pro dealer.

Conditionaire holds Daikin Comfort Pro certification.
What Daikin is good at
Daikin builds variable-capacity equipment — systems that modulate output rather than running at one fixed speed. In a climate like ours the practical benefit is humidity: a system running longer at lower capacity pulls more moisture out of the air than one that satisfies the thermostat quickly and shuts off.
The second thing people notice is noise. Equipment that rarely runs at full output is simply quieter, indoors and out.
Comfort Pro
We are a Daikin Comfort Pro dealer, which requires training on their equipment and meeting their installation and service standards. It also affects the warranty terms available on the equipment we install.
When we would specify it
Where humidity control matters, where noise matters, or where the building has rooms that behave differently from one another. If none of those are your problem, a well-chosen single-stage system may serve you better for less — and we would rather tell you that than sell up.
Common questions
What is a Comfort Pro dealer?
It is Daikin's dealer certification. It requires training on their equipment and meeting their standards for installation and service, and it affects the warranty terms we are able to offer.
What does variable capacity change day to day?
A single-stage system is either running flat out or off. A variable-capacity system adjusts its output to what the building actually needs, so it runs longer at lower power. That means smaller temperature swings, better humidity removal, and noticeably less noise.
Is variable capacity worth the extra cost?
It depends how long you are staying and how much the comfort difference matters to you. In a humid climate the improved moisture removal is a real benefit rather than a spec-sheet one. We will price both and let you decide.
